Customer Care Rep/Medical Receptionist needed for rapidly growing rehab company located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
*****YOU MUST HAVE A RELIABLE CAR, PROOF OF AUTO INSURANCE & VALID DRIVER`S LICENSE IN ORDER TO APPLY ****
Ideal candidate must be:

* Excellent Communication and time-management skills
* Professional appearance
RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
* Answering Phones/ Scheduling
* Insurance Verification/ Follow-up (working knowledge of No-fault/WC insurance plans a plus +++)
* Data Entry
* Going to satellite offices
* Fitting patients with orthopedic supports
* Instructing patients on the use of medical products
* Pre-certify procedures and verification of insurance eligibility
* Follow-up with insurance carriers for unpaid bills & posting payments
* Ability to effectively communicate with medical providers & patients
EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS:
* Must have own automobile + have valid driver’s license & auto insurance in order to visit our satellite offices.
* Must be computer literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel
* Must have a minimum 2 years experience working in medical office/ healthcare setting.
* Knowledge of basic medical terminology is a big plus
EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS:
* High School diploma is required.
OFFICE HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:45 AM – 5:45 PM
